Problem: An issue has been
identified with the VPN-Q 2006 client whereby the Internet Connection Sharing
check may fail on some Windows XP PC's that have certain types of network
devices installed. Such devices include:
- Bridged network connections
- Shared connection gateways
(such as those installed by UPnP DSL routers)
Cause: This is due to the
VPN-Q 2006 client attempting to check the ICS status of a device type that does
not support ICS.
