How to use Aladdin eToken with VPN-Q 2006

Aladdin eToken supports various methods of token authentication. The eToken solution involves either an interfacing token, such as Smart cards or USB keys, or a one time pin (OTP). VPN-Q 2006 supports the use of one time pin eToken deployments as standard, while an update is required to support eToken Smart cards.

In order to use eToken Smart Card two factor authentication with VPN-Q 2006 you will require the following updates:

To determine which Service Pack of VPN-Q 2006 you are currently using click here. It is recommended to upgrade to the latest service pack at all times.

When eToken OTP is used, ISA Sever should be configured to accept MS-CHAPv2 authentication and RADIUS.
When eToken Smart Cards are used, ISA Server should be configured to accept EAP authentication.
