SP1 Client Update 1 (Version
2.0.2281.4) includes various fixes and new features based on customer
feedback. In order to benefit from all the new features in this update an
updated
Group Policy template must be implemented. The server installation does not
require upgrading and a new client setup package is not required to be created
and distributed. SP1 Client Update 1 Fixes / Updates
- Internet Connection Sharing check incorrectly fails on PC's with UPnP
routers or network bridges.
- Product Activation does not function as expected when behind a proxy
server that requires authentication.
- Screen saver check incorrectly fails when screen saver settings are
enforced via Group Policy
SP1 Client Update 1 Enhancements
- Added support for Windows Vista Beta 2 and higher (ICS Check not done on
Windows Vista at this stage)
- "Legal Notice" feature added to Enterprise Edition - Requires
updated
Group Policy template
Auto-update: VPN-Q includes an auto-update engine that will update the
client component automatically - provided that this feature has not been
disabled in Enterprise edition.
